Background A community meeting was held on May 18, 2018 at the Southglenn Library regarding the proposed rezoning and potential development of nine single-family homes on the parcel located at 6194 S Franklin St (the “Property”). The developer, Creekside Homes LLC, decided not to move forward with the project. Since then, the City has received another Rezoning and Site Plan presubmittal application for the Property from a different developer (JE Home). A pre-submittal meeting between JE Home and City staff was held on June 27, 2018. Prior to the developer submitting a formal application, they must schedule another community meeting. Great information from Perry  Herrmann From the Denver Business Journal  Dec 10, 2012 California company buys Village Homes  A California homebuilder announced Monday it's entering the Colorado market with the purchase of "various entities" operating under the Village Homes name in Denver, Fort Collins and Granby. William Lyon Homes Inc., of Newport Beach, Calif., didn't disclose what it paid. The company, which builds homes in California, Arizona and Nevada, said Village Homes will operate as a division of William Lyon Homes. J. Eric Eckberg, president of Greenwood Village-based Village Homes , will remain in charge and report to Matthew Zaist, executive vice president of William Lyon Homes.
