Greetings, My name is Rebecca Franciscus and my husband and I live in Orr Estates right across from the proposed development.  I was the blond lady that asked several questions at the community meeting last Friday. I am an attorney (but not a land use attorney), and recommend strongly that we engage legal counsel on behalf of our group to oppose the Creekside Homes LLC application.  Specifically, as we all know, the key to defeating the application will be to present a unified front with cogent legal and factual analysis regarding the nine approval standards for rezoning. Village Homes filed for bankruptcy protection in 2008

Great information from Perry  Herrmann From the Denver Business Journal  Dec 10, 2012 California company buys Village Homes  A California homebuilder announced Monday it's entering the Colorado market with the purchase of "various entities" operating under the Village Homes name in Denver, Fort Collins and Granby. William Lyon Homes Inc., of Newport Beach, Calif., didn't disclose what it paid. The company, which builds homes in California, Arizona and Nevada, said Village Homes will operate as a division of William Lyon Homes. J. Eric Eckberg, president of Greenwood Village-based Village Homes , will remain in charge and report to Matthew Zaist, executive vice president of William Lyon Homes. Village Homes started in 1984.  The company filed for bankruptcy protection in 2008, listing $103.9 million in assets and $138.4 million in liabilities.  A joint venture between Lowe Enterprises and Homebuilder Capital Solutions LLC acquired most Village Home...
